If you are in conflict with your supervisor and you don’t see a satisifying solution in reach, feel free to contact your PhD convent representatives, we are glad to help you with further information or function as neutral mediators. If you don’t want to contact us or seek to directly consult higher levels of administrative power, please inform yourself about the ombuds process. For this purpose our university has established a special central ombuds process to support PhDs and their supervisors in resolving conflicts. It aims to make ombuds processes as accessible as possible. The process can be broken off at any point by the advice seeking person.
